Ordering and proofing
HOW DO I ORDER?
1: Browse and select a design from our collections
2: Choose your options available for the individual product, then enter wording into the text boxes, choose your quantity and add to cart
3: Checkout or continue shopping. At checkout simply complete the one page checkout and leave the rest to us.
4: Design and proofing process – this takes anywhere from 1 to 5 days depending on how quickly you are able to approve your proofs.
5: Once approved, off it goes to our in-house print team. Once your order is printed, finished, checked, packaged and dropped off at the mail centre…await it’s arrival…! Exciting!
PROOFING:
Proof/s will be emailed for approval. We will send to print only once we have written approval
You will receive a digital PDF proof within 2 working days
After your initial proof any changes will add to the shipment time of your order:
Wording changes -please allow 1 working day
Colour changes – please allow up to 2 working days
Custom Design* charges apply – allow 7 working days for first draft proof
How long will I have to wait for my order to be shipped? we send to print within 12 working hours of approval of your order
DELIVERY:
Standard Express post Dispatch: $18
Digital – allow 7 working days from approval
Foil Stamped Invitations – allow 12-14 working days from approval
Rush Print and Express Post: Full steam ahead $50 (includes $18 postage)
Dispatch will be 4 working days from approval – foil stamped & wood is not applicable for rush print
Super URGENT Print and Express Post: Full steam ahead $100 (includes $18 postage)
Dispatch will be same working day* MUST be ordered by 10am and approved before 11am – foil stamped & wood is not applicable for Super urgent print
Printing Process and Cardstocks
All of our products are printed on a commercial printing press using the latest in colour Digital Print Technology. We do not print on a home printer so you can be assured of a great print result.
Foil stamping is done using the old fashioned platens. Much of this process is labour intensive but the wait is worth it. Please allow 2-3 weeks for foil stamping.
Cardstocks:
We print our Invitations on a 280gsm White Vellum, 250gsm White Shimmer, 270gsm Ivory Felt, 280gsm Dimpled Texture, or 330gsm White Linen cardstocks for digital and 250gsm with an upgrade option to 350gsm White Satin for foil stamped.
What is the Minimum Order?
Wedding Invitations Online has a minimum order of 30 for invitations and accessories. We know that you won’t need 30 for table numbers and menus so we’ve kept those to a minimum of 8 for table numbers and menus.
If further invitations or printed products are required after the first order is printed, a minimum order of 12 will apply. We are unable (due to high print costs) to print quantities of less than 12.
We do understand that sometimes invitations go missing in the mail to your guests, or extra friends turn up unexpectedly, so we recommend ordering a few more invitations than you actually need.
Do you have a shop, where I can come and see your full product range?
Yes, our Sunshine Coast print office at Forest Glen in Queensland is available to visit by appointment only Monday to Friday from 9am til 2pm

CUSTOM DESIGN:
Are you able to change your designs to a different colour?
Absolutely! Colour changes are free..Just ask!
We recommend printing a sample to check that the printed result colour is what you had in mind. A printed sample costs $25
What if I like your style but would like something different?
Then ask about our custom design service *Fees apply.
A custom design fee will apply from $80. Please ask us for a quote.
We require all ideas, and a full brief in order to quote correctly and any items missed in the brief which incur additional time will constitute additional charges.
If your custom design is a font change only, there is no charge, however if we have to purchase the font then a fee to cover this will apply.
A free printed sample is included with our custom design service if required.
Questions regarding PRICING:
Where are the hidden charges, or will I get asked to pay more later?
It’s amazing the amount of times we get asked if there are any extra costs involved. Unlike many other invitation companies you know what you will be charged in full up front.
We do not hide any known costs. The price you see in the order calculator is the price you will pay, before you commit to your order.
We do not charge for envelopes – these are included

Delivery of express (standard) post at $18.00 – unless you want express print and post* at $50, which speeds up the printing process to 4 day print turnaround * not available for foil stamped or wood products.
We do not charge for print of your event details (that’s included and all part of the product) – the only extra is for personalisation and optional extras such as magnets and premium card stocks – but this is all shown upfront.
You can be assured of a quality product with no hidden charges.
GUEST NAMES – I would like to have my Guests’ names printed onto the invitation, is this possible?
Yes, we can print your Guests’ names onto their invitation. Simply select this in the option items during the order process, and the charges will add to your shopping cart.
Make sure you download the XL spreadsheet, complete the required details and email it back to us, prior to your order starting through our process.
Wedding Invitations Online will not post your invitations directly to your Guests. Postage to your Guests is the responsibility of the customer. However, if you do require a quote for this fulfilment service, cost for our time will vary between $80 – $180 plus postage – depending on quantity and applicable postage charges.
Can you print in another language?
Yes. We just need you to supply a document with the wording in the language you require. We will then create the artwork using your supplied text and send you a digital PDF to proof and approve. Once approved, we will start the printing process for your order.
SAMPLES
Are free wedding invitation samples available for custom designs?
YES!. If you would like a printed sample before we print your order in it’s entirety, these can be provided and are included in our custom design fees. Colour changes at no charge we do suggest you order a print sample so you can be assured of your perfect colour choice. The fee to cover this is $25
